This is my first attempt at making roast beef. Using Black Angus sirloin here.

I’ve always loved eating rosti ever since I got to eat them at Marche. So I decided to try making some for myself to eat :D

This recipe uses egg to coat the shaved potato and some oil to stick them together.

Az keeps asking me what the fuck this is, it’s a standard at American Chinese takeout joints. Noodles with shrimp, pork, egg, a variety of other shit in a curry sauce.

Time for the last omakase of the year at the Standing Sushi Bar, an early one for Christmas! This time they had these cute sawagani (small river crabs) in a jar on the counter.

NOM NOM NOM

Spaghetti all’Amatriciana is a pasta recipe that originates from the town of Amatrice in Lazio. Traditionally it is made with guanciale and pecorino cheese but since I have neither, I used pancetta slices and parmigiano reggiano instead.

Chopped up the pancetta slices and a small onion.
