CMC Confectionery is one of those institutions in Singapore that retain the memories of the past. I first saw this place in the “Old Places” documentary that was produced by Royston Tan, and it had such a poignant feel that I just wanted to visit it to see for myself.

Killiney Kopitiam is one of the old style kopitiams where you can still go to experience a traditional breakfast there.
