Trying out Barilla’s spinach and ricotta tortellini. Sauteed some prosciutto with onions to add flavour and topped off with basil and parmigiano.

The taste was good but I should have tossed it with the prosciutto more to let the fats coat the tortellini. But I guess everything goes well with bacon!

Today Isetan supermarket had an European Food Fair so I just had to go down to get some rare stuff that I definitely wouldn’t be able to find normally. And boy was I right!

Dried porcini mushrooms! You can’t get these in Singapore at all. In fact it’s quite hard to find outside of Italy but they brought in some for the fair. I have to say they were rather expensive though.

My friend bought me back some prosciutto from Australia, Spanish style sweet serrano, so we decided to make this dish to use it.

Alright so for lunch I’m going to try this new recipe – chicken breasts topped with parmesan and wrapped with prosciutto.

First we start with some nice chicken breasts.
