Tagliatelle with cherry tomatos and sardines

This is a really simple and fast meal to cook up.

Let’s start!


Chop up garlic and a small onion. Halve cherry tomatos and deseed them with your fingers.

Gently sauteed garlic and onions over a low heat until brownish, then throw in cherry tomatos.


After about 3 mins, add a splash of white wine and cook again for 2 mins


Now take off the heat and throw in the sardines plus a good lug of extra virgin olive oil.

Cover with greaseproof paper and let the residue heat cook the sardines for 5 mins.


Finally, throw in the tagliatelle and toss well to mix it up.

This does look pretty good sir! I’m going to give it a try soon. I notice you neglected to mention that you used sake in place of Chardonnay.

Well I was trying to generalise the recipe, sake might sound a bit weird.
