Omakase dinner @ Standing Sushi Bar

Last Wednesday I had the 8 course omakase dinner at the Standing Sushi Bar

It was awesome food and I can’t wait to go back for more 😀

1st course: organic “garden” snails from Chef Roy’s garden (or so he claimed) [Okay I found out that these are called baigai]

2nd course: Hokkaido crab with home-made miso paste

3rd course: Sashimi – hotate, sake, maguro, kanpachi and seared maguro

4th course: Hotate and tofu soup

5th course: Karubi beef tataki topped with bonito shavings and spring onion

6th course: Ginger, mushroom and eggplant

7th course: Sushi – maguro, kanpachi, ebi
