As mentioned in the previous post, I returned back to the same coffeeshop to try the fish soup. And what a queue greeted me! Certainly wasn’t expecting it but that usually means it should be good.
And it is pretty good! The soup is savoury and I slurped it down till it was all gone. The fish is fried just nice and somehow isn’t too soggy. I also like the messy fried egg that they put in with the soup which lifts the flavour up even more.
Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area and need something warming to fill your stomach on a rainy day.

Fish soup is possibly my least favorite hawker food but this really looks delicious. I think it’s the fried egg lol.
On a serious note, I’ve heard much good things about this original Blanco Court fish soup.

Haha you should definitely try this fish soup out. But do it on a cold day otherwise you will sweat like hell!
