Tim’s Restaurant & Cafe

Posted on: November 18, 2012

Tim’s Restaurant & Cafe is one of those places that would remind you of Jack’s Place, except that it’s located in the HDB heartlands of Toa Payoh.

Very normal and homely decor for these kind of places.

Garlic bread as an appetizer, once again reminiscent of Jack’s Place.

They have some very standard Western food dishes like fish & chips…

…and chicken chop.

I tried their Surf & Turf combo since it was on promotion, but look at that sauce, totally reminded me of the Jack’s Place black pepper sauce (and tasted similar too).

This is one of their more popular dishes, the lamb shank. Tender and fall off the bone, definitely can see why most people like to order it.

I didn’t actually try any of their Nepalese items in the menu but I’d say Tim’s is a nice place to visit for decent western food at a good price, especially if you stay around Toa Payoh.
