Salmon Patties

Making salmon patties is great because you can prepare a whole bunch at one shot, store in the freezer, then thaw whenever you can’t think of anything to cook or you’re just too lazy.


The salmon fillet is first poached in milk with bay leaves and a pinch of nutmeg powder.


When it’s done, take out the salmon and break it up into flakes, reserving a bit of the milk.


Mash up some potatoes with chopped parsley.


And mold those patties, seasoning with salt & pepper!


And put them into a skillet to brown.


You can either use breadcrumbs or flour to coat them for better browning.


And that’s a simple recipe for salmon patties!
