Antica Sa Pesta

Antica Sa Pesta originally started in 1882 as a place that sold salt, as its name referred to a traditional method (sa pesta) of breaking up salt into smaller grains by pounding it with a pestle and mortar.

Later it became well known as a place that sold excellent snacks such as farinata which is a pancake made from chickpea flour.

Soon afterwards, they became a proper restaurant as what you see now, and they’ve made pesto as one of their specialties.
