The name Gran Ristoro roughly means “Grand Restaurant” and although the actual place is pretty small, it’s grand enough in what it offers!
It’s a practically a hole in the wall, specialising in sandwiches.
But what a spread they have – it’s a veritable DIY feast!
I chose cinghiale speck (wild boar bacon) as the meat.
And lardo di Colonnata as the ‘butter’.
