Cooking hokkien mee at home!
Giving the prawn shells some colour with garlic and shallots.
Adding some ikan bilis to fry up too.
Water + pork ribs + white peppercorns + rock sugar goes in!
While that’s cooking, I fry up some cubes of lard.
Pork belly is cooked and sliced up.
Simmer simmer simmer.
Preparing the seafood garnish.
I like a mix of white and yellow.
All ready to be combined!
Fry the eggs first.
Then mix the noodle into it.
Throw in ingredients and stock.
Cover and simmer.
