Tonkatsu Taihou

Tonkatsu Taihou is a pretty good tonkatsu shop very near the Meguro JR station.
I think it’s pretty damn good, and so do a lot of other people, as evidenced by the long queue that forms once it opens.
The chef himself prepares, breads, and deep fries the pork cutlets right in front of you.
While the tonkatsu is perfectly done – tender and juicy – I still think the bread crumb batter on the exterior loses out to Maisen.
