Well, third time’s a charm with Kozasa. This was probably one of the best meals (and sushi) that I’ve had so far, with the exception of Saito of course. You can see my previous 2 meals here and here.

Kozasa has now become my favourite sushi place in Tokyo! As before, I’ve reviewed it in a previous blog post so I won’t be covering it again. This time though, I could only take the otsumami portion of the dinner because the chef asked me not to take photos once other guests arrived.

Not to be mistaken for the similarly named Kozasa Sushi over in the Ginza district, Kozasa is another one of those small and unassuming sushi-yas, hidden away in a crowded maze of streets and alleys behind trendy Shibuya.

It’s actually located at the first floor of a tiny apartment complex, just behind the small carpark upfront. If not for their bright signage, I would have probably missed it as well.

Yes I’m back again at Kaikaya, which I first visited back in 2009 and wrote about it. I liked it so much that I decided to return to Kaikaya again this time to try some other dishes there.

Ristorante Aso looks like it could have been plucked straight out of any Italian town  and placed in the trendy Daikanyama district. This Michelin 2 star restaurant is the flagship for chef Tatsuji Aso and it’s also said to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Tokyo.
